State Day 3 - RAIN
State Day 2
State Day 1 - May 26, 2022 - Weather Rainy and Wet
May 20/21, 2022 - Central Valley High School. MCC-GSL Combined Regional Championship - Top three finishers qualify for state. Another horrible day for a track meet (both days). The Bombers qualified nine boys and 14 and both teams placed 2nd in team scoring.
MCC District Championships-Hermiston, Oregon-5/13-14/22
Girls - MCC District 4A Champions
Friday weather conditions were good and Saturday we started with an hour delay then it almost reached 80 degrees. The boys placed second and the girls won their side of the meet. The boys will send 36 spots while the girls will send 34 spots to Regionals in Spokane next week.
Girls - MCC District 4A Champions

Richland Twilight- 5/6/22- Got a little of everything. Wind, rain, sunshine, suspended meet due to lightning. Good final meet before qualifying season begins. It will good to host track meets back at Rish Stadium next year.
MCC #4 Richland / Southridge @ Kamiakin - 5/4/22 (May the 4th be with you) and it was for the Richland Girls as they become the undeated MCC League Champions with wins over Kamiakin and Southridge. First day of spring when it actually felt like spring. Sunny skies and temp in the mid 70's.
MCC #3 Hanford/Richland @ Walla Walla - Weather was in-between a little on the cool side with a slight breeze blowing up the home stretch. Everyone seems to be waiting for the warm sunny day to really drop some PR's. The boys lost to WW but beat Hanford. The girls swept both teams.
MCC#2 Pasco/Richland @ Chiawanna - April 20, 2022 - Weather was once again brutal. It wasn't as cold as the Pasco Invite but during the 200m the rain came down in sheets. The automatic timing system decided to stop working so the meet was called. The 3200m, 4x200, and the 4x400 was not contested.
It's April 16th in tri-cities. we have had 4 days of snow this week. Today was no difference. It was 39 degrees most of the day and the rain mixed with snow and sleet was non-stop. Then as soon as the meet was over the sun came out.
The Bomber girls won the meet!!!!
River City Relays 3/14/22
WHAt a brutal week weatherwise. Snowed 3 days this week. Thursday's meet was clear but really cold with a North wind blowing down the Columbia.
April 2, 2022 - Don Holder Relays - Yakima - Weather was a
bit cool but sunny with a slight breeze.
Several good marks and many PR’s were had as well as a hardware
haul. The girls ended up winning the
meet while the boys took 2nd. Their
combined score gave the Bombers the overall victory. Next up is “spring break” then the River City
Relays the Wednesday before the Paschal Invite.
MCC #1 - March 31st - Weather was on chilly side with a nasty head-wind up the home stretch pretty typical for meets at Hanford even though Richland hosted the meet. The boys and girls team swept the meets against Kennewick and Hermiston. Sophomore Macie Milum had a nice long jump of 17’3.75 that puts her at #10 all-time for the Richland girls. The teams travel to Yakima on Saturday.
Ray Cross Invitational-Ephrata-March 26, 2022. Almost a perfect day for track and field competition. The girl's team won the team trophy while the boys took home 6th place.
